This event takes place every year. The Longs cannot keep away, and are joining other Jersey Island Healey owners again for this spectacular event. There is usually a parade for all vehicles taking part, and a display for the car clubs on the Saturday and Sunday. A local Jersey member organises the Healey participants. This will be hosted at Donnington in 2026, a change from Silverstone in 2025. The Syd Segal race is an all Healey event attracting 40+ cars, not to be missed, and last year included some member hospitality. More info to follow. A longstanding popular event with around 30+ cars attending, this year celebrating 50 years since Kevin Law started trading and restoring Healeys. Rob and Kevin Law of Orchard Restorations will throw open the workshop doors from 10am-2pm to reveal a range of interesting vehicles, mainly Healey restorations, repairs, and service work on the go. Subject to time, Rob is generous with advice or fixes you may need on the day. There’s a good BBQ and good company. An interesting and useful event, particularly for new members. Please email Rob that you are coming, so that he can cater for numbers.

Jeff very generously hosts this annual event, which is ideal for new members. We join with Midget and Sprite Club friends, sit under a gazebo (according to weather) and enjoy a summer’s day with BYO picnic in good company. A great opportunity for new members to meet others in a very relaxed setting. Gates open from 1pm. Bring your own picnic. Please contact Jeff to let him know you are coming and for directions.

This event is put on by Tony Palmer, an avid aviation and classic car & bike enthusiast. His farm, near Eastbourne, has a grass air strip and each year he has an open day and invites flying enthusiasts and car clubs. The Austin Healey Club will have a dedicated display area (subject to weather) and the opportunity to see enthusiastic flyers drop in for an informal get together. Bring your own picnic, although there maybe food available on the day. Whilst there is no charge, donations are invited to the RAF Benevolent Fund. This is an airfield and it is your responsibility to keep clear of aircraft landing and taking off. If you wish to attend, please contact Richard Long.

If you are a Lady member of AHC this the event of the year and not to be missed. RAC Epsom is splendid and Michelle is is more than likely to put together a day that is just as fab as last year. Numbers are limited and the event is popular, so an early expression of interest to Michelle is advised.

9.30-6.00pm. This is a big show, which will keep you as busy, or as relaxed, as you like, all day, once you have got in. Over 1,000 cars are expected at the show, plus an autojumble, a car gymhana, stalls, food, bar, music, children’s rides, and a raffle. After congestion issues Southern are not sponsoring a stand this year. If you attend independently, do please let the webmaster know for next year, many thanks.

A big show- over 700 cars last year, along with Parts stands, a flower show, a good choice of eats, drinks etc with a good atmosphere. Easy to get at off the A24 and usually no queues getting in and out. We have a Club stand with gazebo and good company. You will need to book via the Capel 2026 website when created, stating that you are an AHC member so that you are allocated to our stand. Please email Nick with any questions

This newish show seeems to be catching on. Now in its third year and worth a visit. Members need to book independently on the Penshurst website

This event may include classic car racing on the Silverstone circuit but there is currently little car information on their website. Note that the Equipe Sid Segal Memorial Trophy, an all-Healey race, will be held at Donnington on 5th July 2026

The best way to experience Shere Hill Climb is to enter. In 2025 there were Sprites and a good number of big Healeys entered. Entries for 2026 will be open in March, and most years there is a scramble for places.

Southern’s big night- our committee and centre NEC director will report on activities, and be happy to field questions. It’s an important opportunity to vote new committee members onboard, as the more more committee members we have, the more we can do. It is also the East Sussex local meeting night, so expect a certain amount of good cheer. We will be awarding The Park Langley Trophy to the member who has attended the most local meetings and club events. Finally, a subsidised supper. What more could you want?

A dedicated Austin Healey race will feature at Castle Combe’s Autumn Classic on 12/13th September. (Castle Combe track is about 5 miles west of Chippenham, Wilts) The event is promoted as the Ian Cox Memorial Trophy, in memory of the Healey 3000 racer who passed away in 2024. As promoter Derek Burles said: ‘We already have entries in each of the 3 classes – 3000s, 100s and Sprites – and Castle Combe provides the perfect venue for those who both race and enjoy the spectacle of these iconic and popular cars’. After a very positive response to our Drive-It Day Treasure Hunt, we are offering a repeat as an ‘Autumn Leaves’ quiz, this time based at the Welldiggers Arms, Low Heath, A283, Petworth GU28 0HG. Meet at 9:00 am for breakfast. Depart 10:00 am to search for clues in two local villages and return for lunch and prize giving. Pre-booking essential. All enquiries to Geri Barnden.

We are planning our usual formula for this event: park around the Green at Staplefield and watch the Veteran Cars as they make their way towards Brighton over the course of the morning. We anticipate the Victory Inn will be re-opening under new management and hope they will offer breakfast refreshments. We have secured a 1:00pm lunchtime reservation but spaces are limited! Join us on the Austin Healey stand at the UK’s premier classic car show. Members, friends and followers can get a special car club discount, details on the National Website nearer the event, on family, child or multi-day tickets. This is a huge show, taking up all 9 halls. Wear your most comfortable shoes, AHC always put on a good stand with interesting cars, so be sure to drop by and say hello to our volunteers.

National Austin Healey Club AGM at The Woodland Grange Hotel, Old Milverton Lane, Leamington Spa CV32 6RN on Sunday 6th December at 10.30 am.
