This is not intended to be a News Brief as such although there are a couple of items that I would like to make you all aware of but rather just a way to wish all Southern Counties Members a very Merry Christmas in the hope that festivities will not be wiped out as they were last year.
I will not dwell on the Virus as there are more than enough people talking about it except to say that I really hope that we will be able to enjoy our Club events together in the New Year.
My ‘Sprite in the Snow‘ photograph above, is indeed my 1968 1275cc Mk IV. The photograph was taken in 1975 and I owned the car for about 3 years. Unfortunately the person I sold it to decided to have it re-sprayed in Ford Sahara Beige and not long afterwards wrote it off due to a collision with a telegraph pole. I really should not have sold it.
By the time you read this Next years Schedule of Events will have been published on our Website so I hope you will have a look and maybe decide to join us at one or more.
In the last brief I mentioned that Chris Hardings’ Garage Sale was taking place on Saturday 1st January. For obvious reasons this should have been Saturday 8th January starting at 12.noon.
Wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Safe Healey Driving 2022.
